Mazda Key Replacement | Mazda Keys Without The Warning Light

A common Mazda problem after fitting an aftermarket key is a key warning light that stays on, even though the car starts. Many replacement keys work but don't fully satisfy the car's checks. The keys we supply and program are set up so the light doesn't appear, and you still end up with a proper Mazda key.

If you've already got a key that's causing the light, tell us when you call. It's usually quicker to supply and program the right key than to chase the warning. Mazda key programming with the correct key leaves the dash clear, and the key behaves exactly like the one the car left the factory with. The same applies to spares, so it's worth getting the right key the first time.

A second key is far easier to arrange while one still works. A Mazda spare key is cut and coded at the car, registered as its own key, and tested for locking and starting. If one is ever lost, it can then be removed from the car without affecting the other. See Spare Car Keys.
