Why The Right Chip Matters On A Mitsubishi
Mitsubishi key replacement can be less forgiving than some makes. The key has to carry the correct transponder chip for the car, and on some models only a genuine Mitsubishi key will program reliably. Outlander PHEV Not Responding To Its Key?
The Outlander plug-in hybrid relies on a small 12-volt battery for its locks, key reader and start system, separate from the large drive battery. If the car has stood unused for a while, that small battery can go flat, and the car may ignore a perfectly good key. It's worth ruling out before booking anything.

Imported Delicas
Many Mitsubishi Delicas on UK roads, particularly the camper conversions, are Japanese imports rather than UK-supplied vehicles. Their keys and immobilisers can differ from UK models, so the import's details matter even more than usual. Give us the chassis details or a photo of the key when you call, and we'll confirm what's needed.
