What The Customer Needed
This Nissan Elgrand in Cadnam required key and immobiliser programming with the vehicle present, allowing the replacement to be matched and checked on site.
Pre-programming checks
Before starting the learning procedure, we identified the Nissan Elgrand key type and confirmed stable communication with the relevant vehicle system. We avoided introducing specialist module work unless the visible job evidence supported it.
Coding the replacement
Compatible key hardware was prepared and enrolled through the appropriate programming route for the Nissan Elgrand. Remote response and immobiliser recognition were treated as separate checks rather than assuming one proved the other.
Functional testing
The programmed key was cycled several times on the Nissan Elgrand, including locking, unlocking and start authorisation where supported. Consistent operation was confirmed before the Cadnam job was completed.
